Prof Andrea Boltho, Economist
Andrea Boltho was educated in Italy and at the Universities of London
(LSE), Paris and Oxford.
From 1966 to 1977, he was at the OECD Department of Economics and
Statistics.
From 1973 to 1974, he was Japan Foundation Fellow at the Research
Institute of the Economic Planning Agency, Tokyo.
From 1977 to 2007, he was Fellow and Tutor in Economics at Magdalen
College, University of Oxford and has been an Emeritus Fellow since
2008.
Other positions in his long career have included Consultant to the
World Bank, the OECD and Member of the Academic Council of the IFO
Institute, Munich, as well as Visiting Professor in various European
universities. Has been a Member of the Board of Finmeccanica and is a
Director of Oxford Economics.
Cindy Yu, Assistant Editor, The Spectator
A fluent English and Mandarin speaker, Cindy Yu was born and raised in
Nanjing, China, until the age of 10. She read Politics, Philosophy, and
Economics at the University of Oxford, where she also read for a Master
of Science in Contemporary Chinese Studies.
Her research focused on Chinese political propaganda and modern youth
opinion. She has travelled extensively within China and has also lived
and worked in Hong Kong. Cindy Yu has written extensively about Chinese
society and politics for the Spectator, especially covering the China
coronavirus response. She is a frequent commentator on China issues for
RTE, BBC World Service and World TV.
Gabriel Fernandez Azzato, International Business Director TTOBMA
Gabriel joined as TTOBMA International Business Director in April 2021,
leading its commercial processes and subscriber engagement.
He is based in Montevideo, Uruguay. With over 10 years of
international experience in the pulp business, mainly in sales and
commercial areas, Gabriel has experience securing sales in Latin
America and Africa, Middle East, as part of multinational companies
(Tetra Pak and GP Cellulose).
He has a Business Administration degree from UCEMA and an Executive MBA
from IAE Business School.
Tom Wright, Managing Director, Hawkins Wright
After training as an accountant, Tom joined Hawkins Wright in 1998.
He undertakes most of the private client consultancy assignments on a
wide range of topics related to the pulp and paper sector.
He is the co-author of the Outlook for Market Pulp and makes regular
contributions to Pulpwatch. He is the principal author of the Asian
multi-client studies.
Defining the China Market for Pulp Paper, Board enjoys industry-wide
recognition and is now in its eighth year of publication.
Tom travels widely, both in the course of market research and
also as a frequent speaker to private meetings and industry
conferences.
